Well, they threatened it a few months ago, and now they've done it. Inexplicably, Homefront is getting an Ultimate Edition that includes all the DLC for a low price. This edition will contain the "Fire Sale" and "The Rock" map packs, plus the 870 Express Shotgun.

The official release date for Europe is March 23rd, so expect it in North America on March 20th, which puts it at about the one year mark after the original game released.

I some ways, I think this game got a bit of a bad rap. I gave it a rent and enjoyed the single player (it had a great "What If" story by John Milius), and would have enjoyed the multiplayer more but for that damn online pass. Thanks THQ.

Crytek has taken over development on a sequel, so we have that to look forward to.

All that being said, I doubt I'll bother with this. How about you?

I don't care for the multiplayer but I'll pick it up for the single player being the collector I am

For a ten minute one-player game, they sure as hell better put this on sale for less than £10/$8/€7 (or whatever)-

This game was a major disappointment to me, I loved the hype buildup and the story behind the game. But the execution was rushed and extremely glitchy.

Biggest disappointment of 2011 to me.

When the multiplayer worked and nobody hacked, it was great fun, although that was the 1% of every game.

If you were any good at games, this game was alright. Quite a few hours, lacks more content. It has a lot of qualities both bf3 and mf3 decided to incorporate (rip) into their games. The engine was kinda crappy but overall it was fun and it stood out to me. But like i said if you were no good or didn't have a pass it must of been a terrible experience.

Kinda useless info but when the mp demo was active you could go further than being without a pass. I'm not so sure about hacking, i don't recall it ever being an issue. Most people, or idiots, mistaken their lat (Lag) for people hacking. On a 5 star basis it was a 3 or a 4. All you had to do was get battle points and your options were very vast, if you sucked or camped, well.. go complain about another game your not good at like cod.
