Bahamut and company are getting another ally in their fight against the rebellion. Konami has announced that a new downloadable content pack for Arc System Works' Hard Corps: Uprising is now available for purchase and download on Xbox Live.

The DLC pack adds a new playable character: Leviathan, one of Bahamut's bitter rivals when he was still in the Empire's Army. Leviathan is limited to only one weapon slot but he makes up for it with his Moonsault (backflip) Grenade Throws and Sliding Attack. The Leviathan DLC pack can now be downloaded for 200 Microsoft Points.
Hard Corps: Uprising is the prequel to the Mega Drive/Genesis original, Contra: Hard Corps. The 2D side scrolling shooter places gamers in the shoes of the soldier Bahamut as he leads a revolutionary army against his former employers, the opressive Commonwealth.
Hard Corps: Uprising is now available on Xbox Live. It's also heading to PlayStation Network tomorrow.
