In a move that will undoubtedly hedge out a few Halo fans or at least force them to make some hard decisions on what is stored on their hard drives, Halo 4 will require a massive install if you want to get in on the game's multiplayer. The Xbox.com product page for Halo 4 reads, "At a minimum, you'll need at least an 8GB USB Flash Drive or an Xbox 360 Hard Drive to play Multiplayer mode in Halo 4. For an optimal experience playing with an Xbox 360 Hard Drive is highly recommended."

Wow. So if you have one of the old 20 GB Xbox 360s you're really going to have to make some calls on old save files and the like. How about you? Will you have enough room on your hard drive to get in on the Halo 4 multiplayer, assuming you're interested in playing it?

Halo 4 will be out November 6th, 2012.

I have enough space on my hard drive, but the multi-player had best be reaches over Reach's multi-player in either gameplay, maps, and/or graphics to justify a requirement such as this...

Otherwise, what possible good is there in that requirement?

Look at BF3, with its updates and HD content and whatnot, that sucker takes up somewhere around 16gb of space on my HDD. Thankfully, I just upgraded to a 120gb.

I'm good I got a 60gb HDD, and dont have that much on there anyhow. Nice to see this and BF3 use the install feature, anything the maximize the quality.
