A promo trailer has come out for Gamescom 2012 and it features the line-up of upcoming blockbuster games that everyone already knows about and is betting on being there. But amidst the line-up is a little snippet of Grand Theft Auto V, which was unexpected. GTA V had zero presence at E3 this year, which was expected, so for it to show up at Gamescom would be really surprising.

Rockstar will undoubtedly be at Gamescom when it takes place in Cologne, Germany next month, but when asked for comment, they gave their usual response, "I'm afraid we don't comment on rumor or speculation."

The GTA V bit is at the 1:50 mark in the video below. It certainly has the gaming press excited, but do you think it was just thrown in for the heck of it or will GTA V make an appearance at Gamescom 2012?
