Glitches and Texture problems with the BF3 launch |
Listed in: News Tags: battlefield 3, bf3, Electronic Arts, glitches
Battlefield 3 broke street date in Australia yesterday and the United States has been loving it and showing off how great it is already. The game looks fantastic and is getting rave reviews. Not as good as Arkham City last week or Uncharted 3 next week, but still good enough for EA, hopefully.
The 360 version however, was reported with having an install which may or may not be necessary. I'm gonna say right now...It's necessary:
The texture pack is not only in HD but actually worthwhile. The game looks like a bunch of flies died and attached their souls to everything and then just left them there for players to find.
The PC release didn't exactly fare perfectly on release either with a lot of people reporting glitches on the first day release. It's not as bad as the original Beta release from a few weeks back, but still fairly noticeable.

I've yet to play the game properly, but I've got the plans to pick it up in a fortnight and will report back on my experience once I get it.
