Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse was officially announced a few weeks ago, but details were pretty damn scarce. Today, Activision has released some details that shed more light on things.

First, you will play as either Stewie or Brian, both of whom will have unique powers and weapons. The game will expand on the "Road to the Multiverse" episode of Family Guy and the main villain will be Stewie's evil (well, evil-er) twin, Bertram...who wants to destroy Quahog, of course.

The game will also feature co-op, which seems natural with the dual main characters, and multiplayer, which Activision says will have a Family Guy "twist," whatever that means. 

The game will be rated 18 and will "tap into the core components of the Family Guy spirit."

Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse will be out this fall. Anyone looking forward to this?
