Ice-T's band, Body Count, have gone and released a new single by the name "The Gears of War", which, as the name obviously implies, is inspired by the franchise.



As it turns out, Ice-T's not only providing a track for Gears of War 3, he's also lending his voice for the character of Griffin, who by the way can be yours as a playable character if you click on the Like button via Facebook. So really, it looks like the rapper's got his hands full promoting the game. He must be really a fan himself.



Anyway, it really should be an exciting track. We've got a sample of it embedded right here so you'll know if you'd want to get it from iTunes. Meanwhile, Epic Games is feeling the pressure of coming up with a spectacular ending for the epic franchise that is Gears of War.
