Gears of War: Judgment's DBNO Elimination Clarified |
Listed in: News Tags: Epic Games, gears of war: judgment, people can fly

It was recently announced that a key Gears feature, Down But Not Out, would not be featured in Gears of War: Judgment. Well fret not, as Epic Games has recently better explained things for Gears fans.
As it turns out, DBNO will only be eliminated altogether in Free For All mode, because obviously no one is going to revive you if they're all trying to kill you.
Here's Epic's official statement: "DBNO (Down But Not Out) is featured in the Gears of War: Judgment campaign. As for competitive and co-op multiplayer, a DBNO-like feature exists in OverRun, wherein the Medic class has the ability to revive teammates who are downed with our new stim grenade. The difference is that they are stationary and not crawling around. Grenadiers on the Locust side can go DBNO and then be revived by another Grenadier or a Kantus. And for obvious reasons, our new Free For All mode doesn't feature any sort of DBNO. We have more modes to announce in the future, so we can only comment on the modes we've announced so far."
