Several European retailers have now added this image to their product pages for Epic Games' upcoming epic installment for the franchise. Yes, that's Marcus, holding a Lancer weapon, ominously giving you that glare as dark as that plain black background behind him. The back cover apparently also features the Gears of War 3 insignia in red and black, dominating the upper half of the box. Below that are the product details.
The Gears of War 3 Steelbook Edition is so far confirmed only for Europe, pegged at an SRP of E54.99 (about US$ 78), to be released on the same day the actual game comes out, on September 20th. North American folks need not worry, however, because they will also be getting the Limited Edition. And of course, there's also that swanky Gears of War 3 Xbox 360 unit that would just look spartanly awesome in your entertainment center.
