Even though there was a small leak online that this was coming out already, it was confirmed yesterday at the Game Developers Conference that Lionhead Studios would be releasing Fable Heroes to XBLA sometime this year. The game was initially leaked when a listing on the XBLA Market showed up a piece of the game and everyone lost their shit. 

The game will not be dissimilar to Mario Party or whatever the Sonic version of it is, with the game being a Board Game-like title. The game has a 4 player system where people earn gold and can upgrade their character, their weapons, items and their general well being as they continue through the game. It sounds more like Life than Monopoly, but I wonder how strong or important the RPG elements will be. Probably as strong as the time between you and your friends starting up the game and the point where one guy spends too long selecting if his character is a hunter or rogue.

The game will be out on 360 later this year and will have Kinect support.
