Fruit Ninja Kinect-bound? |
Listed in: News, Games Tags: fruit ninja, halfbrick, Microsoft
Halfbrick's literal slasher title Fruit Ninja has taken the smartphone world by storm so much that it's not really surprising people would be curious as to how it would fare if enabled via motion technology.
Well, your curiousity is bound to be satisfied beecause Korea's Game Ratings Board has apparently already rated Fruit Ninja for Microsoft's Kinect. As to when it will happen, or where else it will happen, we're still waiting for more official word on it.
Back in March, however, four German students came up with a life-sized version of the game, implemented in CAVE (Cave Automatic Virtual Environment).
Here's a video of that project, completed in two weeks. It will probably be not how the Kinect version will actually work, but at least we're able to see how it could go.
