Freestyle 3 Adds a Fresh New Look to Your Dashboard |

One of the major problems with the casual five or six year lifespan of a gaming console is that the user interface can tend to get a little bit stale, and on its base level is never really updated. Sure Microsoft seems keen to be adding functionality to their system through the recent implementation of Internet Explorer, but as far as menus go, a lot of that stuff has remained the same. Thanks to a newly designed dashboard known as F3 however, you can give your modded Xbox console the much needed visual makeover it needs.

Instead of looking at those drab and boring menus that you have become accustomed to, Freestyle has been known to give you a lot more of a streamlined modern look that is sure to liven up your gaming experience on Microsoft's flagship console. Obviously the Freestyle name has been a part of the scene for quite a while now, and this will be the third major implementation in the series. If this video is any consolation, I would have to say it is probably the best looking version too. With its reliance on thumbnail images and simple scrolling, there's no need ti strain your eyes with text. The bright and colorful menus will guide you to your system's most essential functions.
However, one of the normal caveats that comes with installing a fresh dashboard is that you're going to have to do an entirely fresh installation if you want things to get accomplished. For the user that isn't quite so technically inclined, this can be a little bit of a hairy process. That is whicy the team has released the F3 Installer which will allow users to work behind a visual system to install through NXE or a burnt disc image. More or less, you are getting a beautiful way to browse coupled with an easy way to install it. Things can't get much better than that.
