As you know, Forza Motorsport 4 will be coming in at two discs for the Xbox 360. The first one is for the game, while the second one is actually for all the extra cars that you can use in the game.

Now, it's understandable that you would be concerned just how much disc space you'll need on your hardware for these two discs. Now that the embargo has lifted, we now have the information to that very question.

According to Turn 10, the first disc's optional install will set you back 7.6GB worth of space. As for the second disc, otherwise known as the "install disc", you'll need an additional 2.8GB. This one will contain four car packs, which can then be installed individually through a prompt with your game progress. 

A word of caution for those playing on multiple consoles: be sure to install the second disc on all consoles you're using, otherwise you will lose the cars in the garage.

By the way, the demo for Forza 4 is out now on the XBL Marketplace, so do check it out. Just a couple of weeks back, Turn 10 and Microsoft also announced the Season Pass DLC initiative for Forza 4.
