Fable: The Journey is getting a lot of flak for simply being a Kinect game. Despite this, there appear to be some people out there who actually like it. That is, if you watch the video below put out by Lionhead and Microsoft and believe the testimonials found therein. Remember, these people are most definitely not actors or paid for gushing over the game in any way. They're just kewl gamers who, like, are waaaay into hardcore stuff like Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim and also happen to loooovvve Fable: The Journey.

That being said, there's also plenty of footage of the game and these people playing it, so you can see all the cool/unnecessary poses they strike while playing. One guy promises that the aiming is more precise and the controls are more responsive than other Kinect games. While this is a low bar, it would be great if it were true.

The Fable: The Journey demo is up on Xbox Live. Anyone out there tried it yet? What's the verdict?
