You have to wonder if anyone is getting fired over this stuff. At some point early this morning or late last night, someone at xbox.com put up images of the upcoming Kinect-enabled Fable: The Journey. They also managed to leak a release date: September 4th, 2012. If you go there now, of course, it's been taken down and replaced with a nonsense date of December 31st, 2799 - a date they've used in the past in similar circumstances.

It's still not clear if the game will be on rails or not, as the demo at E3 last year was, but Peter Molyneux said that was just for the ease of the demo and that adding navigation would have been "confusing." So it sounds like it won't be on rails - which may test the limits of the Kinect.
