Elder Scrolls Online, You Have Worthy Competition |

If you’re enjoying (or have already enjoyed) Kingdoms Of Amalur, then you’ll be pleasantly pleased to hear that 38 Studios are indeed working on a another RPG. Is it a follow up? Not at all, but instead an MMO, which is due to be released June 2013. Quite a precise date considering it’s over a year away, and it’s pleasant to see.
What’s also pleasant to see so early is that the title, dubbed Project Copernicus, already has a teaser video that shows the game’s VERY varied and colourful environments.
Everything from Tim Burton to an episode of Bear Grylls is covered in the range of settings, which leads me to think; will this be the closest we’ll get to World Of Warcraft on consoles? Granted this isn't confirmed for any particular platform yet, but the studio’s confidence with consoles should be pretty strong following Kingdoms Of Amalur’s success.
It also raises the question of how well it will fair against Bethesda’s foray into online gaming; Amalur was often put up by gamers against Skyrim, and now it’s likely that this will be put up against The Elder Scrolls Online; that said, from first impressions I think I know which one I already prefer.
