Dev Diary for Alan Wake's American Nightmare |

In the latest dev diary for Alan Wake's American Nightmare, the guys from Remedy provide a lot of insight into how they came up with their ideas for their forthcoming Xbox Live Arcade title. The video features Creative Director Sam Lake, Managing Director Matias, and Head of Franchise Development Oskari Hakkinne. Lake says that while Alan Wake was "Stephen King and Lost," American Nightmare is "Quentin Tarantino and From Dusk 'til Dawn." That's a pretty good allegory right there. It says a lot.
It seems to mostly focus on the new Horde/COD zombies mode called "Fight Till Dawn," which looks like a whole lotta chaotic fun judging from this video. They also say that they amped up the action and combat in story mode, but that the story is still solid like in the previous game.
Alan Wake's American Nightmare will be out on XBLA on February 22nd and will cost 1200 Microsoft Points ($15.00).
