A new live action trailer is out for Darksiders II starring James Cosmo (Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Braveheart, and about a million other things - this guy shows up everywhere) as a preacher trying to calm his flock in the midst of one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse literally tearing the crap out of the city in which they live. He of course reads that familiar "Death on a pale horse" bit.

Of course, since this is the Four Horseman of the Darksiders franchise we're talking about, we find out the Death doesn't exactly do what you might think.

It's called The Last Sermon and you should check it out. What do you think of these new live action trailers that are becoming more and more popular these days? Would you rather just see some gameplay instead of the studios investing in these live action affairs?

Darksiders II will be out August 14th, 2012 in North America. Expect it to show up in Europe and elsewhere a couple of days later as usual.
