Previously, Deadlight was described as a platforming, survival horror puzzler. It's a mouthful, but it's looking more and more like that indeed is the case. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world that of course has zombies. Well, they're not called zombies in the trailer, so maybe they're just really angry drunk people. Who am I kidding - they're zombies.

Anyway, looking at the gameplay you can see a dash of Flashback, a little Limbo, and some original Prince of Persia as well. Some have described it as "Left 4 Dead meets Shadow Complex," which sounds good indeed.

I like the revolver graphic on the HUD. This tells me that every bullet will count, which ratchets up the tension properly in any zombie game.

Deadlight will be out this summer on the XBLA.
