The Dead Space 3 pre-orders have been released for a couple of major retailers. Yes, they're guns, and yes, Dead Space 3 will still be survival horror. According to the developer, anyway. All that aside, if you preorder from GameStop, you'll get the EG-900 submachine gun and if you opt for Amazon you'll get the Tesla Enervator weapon.
Here are the official descriptions:
- EG-900 SMG - This EarthGov-issued submachine gun is built for urban warfare. It's compact but deadly, sporting an internal hyper-accelerator for maximum damage.
- Tesla Enervator - Sovereign Colonies scientists developed the "Enervator" from an overdriven focus coil to "humanely" eliminate dangerous specimens. The Enervator delivers a precision blast causing instantaneous electrocution and molecular destabilization in the target. In test subjects, death was instantaneous.
Dead Space 3 will be out February 5th, 2013 in North America and February 8th, 2013 in Europe.
