Dead Space 3 has gotten a lot of flak from the fans because of the fact that the folks at Visceral Games are introducing more action-y stuff into the game such as co-op, a cover mechanic, and a roll mechanic, among other things. On the other hand, when you look at videos like the new one put out below it looks like Dead Space 3 will be staying true to the first two games in many ways.

This 17-minute long gameplay video starts off with protagonist Isaac Clarke on board a ship called Eudora. Things go horribly wrong as usual and before long he's hurtling through outer space. Eventually he ends up on a wrecked flotilla home to - you guessed it - more damn necromorphs. These things are a bit different because they've been formed from 200-year-old mummified corpses, so they're extra crunchy. There are also lurkers that have formed from dead dogs, rather than dead babies, and necromorphs that behave almost like regular old zombies and also wield weapons. Well, that's different.
