A new video is out that gives us a little behind-the-scenes look at Darksiders II. Here they talk about all the customizations they've added to the game; stuff they wanted to do the first time around but couldn't for some reason. There will be tons of loot to pick up, so your weapons will be able to be changed regularly to reflect your desired play style. The best weapons are called possessed weapons, to which you can "feed" lesser weapons to increased the possessed weapons' power. That certainly makes management a lot easier.

There will also be two skill trees: The Harbinger and the Necromancer. As you might expect, the Necromancer is all about spells that let you nuke the crap out of your enemies. The Harbinger, on the other hand, is a straight-up fighter focusing on melee attacks.

The guys at Vigil Games are also promising a lot more chances for exploration this time around, as the world is far more expansive and there are things that may take multiple playthroughs to discover.
