Crysis 2 gets first review score from OXM |

Crysis 2 isn't here yet, but it's so close we can almost feel it right in our hands. Almost, but not quite. You know who's been lucky enough to actually do hold it in their hands? OXM. Yep, they got to play the game already, in effect giving the the opportunity to give out the first review score for the much-awaited FPS sequel.
So what rating did they give the game? An impressive and very curiousity-inducing 9/10. The latest issue of OXM justifies this score by saying that the "some of the most exciting, angry and satisfying action you'll ever have" comes from the nice balance served up by the multiplayer mode.
The single-player mode isn't about to be left out in all the fun, though. "As you progress, streets rupture, buildings tilt and fall," and as you find yourself in the middle of all this devastation (snuggled comfortably in your nanosuit), you'll find that it's "both massively empowering and intelligently balanced by the need to manage its energy levels."

Sounds pretty enticing stuff, indeed! You can check out the full review of OXM as soon as the magazine hits the stands this Thursday. Crysis 2 hits the market in a couple of weeks -- March 22nd for North America, and March 25th for Europe -- so be ready for more deluge of review scores and last-minute information from all over.
