You may remember two weeks ago we reported the ESRB listed the dark fantasy RPG as available for both PC and Xbox 360, and while the developers remained coy about Witcher 2 console ports there was more evidence with support for the 360 controller on the PC version of the game.

Now, at E3, Ausgamer has confirmed there will be a 360 port, but as of yet there is no mention of versions for the Playstation 3 or Nintendo platforms.

The planned release date slated for Q4 2011. The Xbox 360 version will be an enhanced adaptation of the PC game released to instant international acclaim in mid-May. Accordingly, it will incorporate numerous improvements and enhancements. Details will be announced over the coming months.

Whether these improvements and enchancements will be in addition to the total package, or to gloss over sacrafices that may be necessary to make the port work on 360 hardware, remains to be seen.
