Call of Juarez Sequel Announced |
Listed in: News Tags: call of juarez: gunslinger, techland, Ubisoft

From all reports, the last Call of Juarezgame blew pretty hard. It was called Call of Juarez: The Cartel and instead of following the Western movie theme of Call of Juarez and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, it brought the story into modern times and dealt with Mexican drug cartels and the like. It had a ton of other problems to boot.
So that seemed like the end of Call of Juarez, but now we're getting a sequel that returns to the franchise's roots. Ubisoft teased the game with the image above yesterday, then today released a live-action trailer for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. It's being developed by Techland and will be an XBLA/PSN game.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger will feature infamous gunslingers from the Old West such as Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett, Butch Cassidy, and Jesse James. It will also feature the return of more good old slo-mo gunfights, this time with the ability to dodge bullets while doing so.
Check out the trailer below and let us know if you're interested in Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, ya varmints.
