After everyone speculating on this and latching onto leaks of that, Treyarch has gone ahead and put out their own explanation of the Revolution DLC for Black Ops II. It's a little bit revolutionary in that it introduces a mode in which you'll get to play a zombie! The mode is called Turned and you start out as a zombie and you can "wreck havoc," as the guy says in the video below. If you kill a human you respawn as a human and get to fight the zombies.

Speaking of zombies, there's the Die Rise map for COD zombies. It's almost entirely vertical.

And that's where the revolution ends. Everything else in the Revolution DLC is maps and a gun. Check it all out below and look for it on Xbox 360 on the 29th. PS3 users, as always, must wait.
