BioWare Releases Mass Effect 3 MP Stats - This Shit is Hard |
Listed in: News Tags: BioWare, EA, mass effect 3
If you've been playing Mass Effect 3's co-op multiplayer mode, you've probably noticed how damn aggressive the AI is. It's considerably more aggressive than the AI in the Gears series' Horde mode, for example. As such, a good chunk of your games end in failure and you screaming at your idiotic teammates that run off by themselves and try to Rambo everything.
Well, EA and BioWare have put out a little graphic that demonstrates that pretty much everyone else is having the same problem.
In the graphic below, it says that 33% of all matches end in a failed extraction, i.e. total failure. It also says that less than 1% of all successful matches are on Gold difficulty, which is the hardest level. Bronze is hard enough playing with randoms, so I couldn't imagine what Gold must be like.
In more positive news, the graphic states that players have racked up 1800 years of playtime in the mode, earned 83 billion MP credits, and killed 2 million phantoms, those bastards. Also, the Soldier is the most popular class, which is not a surprise.

But to help us all do a little better the developers have also put out a handy video strategy guide to the multiplayer mode:
