DICE has released the details on its upcoming Battlefield 3 DLC, called Aftermath. It's going to be set in the city of Tehran in Iran following a massive earthquake that has all but destroyed the city and is said to depict "a continuing struggle for supremacy and survival amongst the devastation." There will be all kinds of cracks and crevices to explore (since, ya know, massive earthquake), which opens up a lot of room for all kinds of vertical combat. 

Battlefield 3 Aftermath will also feature "heavily modified" troop transports and even civilian vehicles that have been tricked out Mad Max style, or as DICE puts it, "specially adapted to deliver deadly force to the enemy."

This Battlefield 3 DLC will also have four new maps, a new mode, new assignments, new dog tags, and new achievements/trophies. 

No release date has been set in stone yet, but DICE said at E3 that Battlefield 3 Aftermath would be out in December.
