Batman: Arkham City Prequel May Be Set in the Silver Age |
Listed in: News Tags: arkham city, Batman, rocksteady, warner bros

The latest rumor regarding the next Batman game from Rocksteady is that they're eyeing a prequel. And not just any prequel, this would be a full-on Silver Age setting. While the Silver Age of comics (taking place from 1956-1970) is known for its uber-cheesiness, most probably assume that Rocksteady would put their own dark spin on it were this to actually happen. It's not likely that Batman would be wearing the Adam West blue and grey outfit from the '60s Batman TV show, for example.
It's also rumored that Warner Bros. has suggested to Rocksteady that they somehow include the Justice League in this game as well. This would mean that heroes such as Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and The Flash could show up in the game in some capacity. Apparently, this is going to serve as a launching point for Warner to finally get a Justice League film made someday.
What do you think about Rocksteady returning Batman to the Silver Age for a prequel? What about the inclusion of the Justice League?

Let's see how much crap we can cram into one game, instead of just flushing it out with the main character's story.
