Platinum Games has been getting a lot of attention lately because it was announced that they had taken the helm in developing Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, so it's been easy to forget that Anarchy Reigns has been in development for a while now - and it finally has a set release date.

In the summer of 2012, we'll have the chance to play as Jack as he leads his black team against the white team of Leo in the single player mode. The multiplayer mode is what has gotten the most attention, however, as it supports up to eight players all beating the tar out of each other at the same time in a big arena.

With games like Vanquish and Bayonetta already under their belts, Platinum Games has made it obvious that they know how to do action. Of course, that's what scares so many Metal Gear Solid fans. But we'll have to wait and see how Revengeance turns out. As far as Anarchy Reigns goes, it all looks good. If you haven't already, check out the trailer. Hey, it's got a Wilhelm Scream in it.
