Activision: Walking Dead FPS Video Game Coming in 2013 |
Listed in: News Tags: Activision, FPS, shooters, walking dead
With the new season of the hit AMC show the Walking Dead coming up this fall the guys at Activision have let the cat out of the bag. They will be working on a First Person Shooter tie in. Players will play the part of none other than the Boondock Saint himself, Daryl Dixon, and try to make their way to Atlanta where Daryl and his brother Merle entered the series.

Activision promises a “haunting, unforgiving quest to make their way to the supposed safety of Atlanta.” And that “No place is truly safe for Daryl as he makes his way through the Georgia countryside…” Players will have to use all of Daryl’s skills to avoid or fight his way past the hordes of undead.

As in most survival horror games supplies will be hard to come by and you will need to manage your food, ammo and other supplies as you make your way through the video game. Although the zombie wasteland is a harsh place, you will still manage to encounter other characters along the way that could be helpful or harmful and you will have to decide if you want them to come with you as you make your way to Atlanta.

Right now that’s all that Activision is telling us aside from that it will be available on Xbox360, PS3 and PC sometime in 2013. They also state that more info will be made available as time goes on. So sit tight and we will keep you up to date with all the latest on the Walking Dead FPS as it becomes available.
