AC: Revelations will have 'more linear sequences'

It's been confirmed by Ubisoft that Assassin's Creed: Revelations will have more of those 'Prince of Persia moments'. In an interview with OXM UK, creative director Alex Amancio explained how this would work with Revelations.

"You know how in Assassin's Creed we've always had the typical systematic city, then missions on top of that, and then sometimes we have more linear moments? Some people have called them 'Prince of Persia moments' within Assassin's Creed. We're taking that idea and having more linear sequences. But instead of having more challenged-based sequences, we're having highly realized sequences. So we're drawing the emotion from the actual realization and intensity, rather than from climbing puzzles for example. You have those moments in the game."

He furthered, "Remember we had exotic gameplay sequences, like Leonardo's flying machines? We're still going to have exotic gameplay sequences with new exotic mechanics, but we're also going to wrap them in more of a highly realized fashion."

The game was first announced at Ubisoft's E3 presentation last week. AC: Revelation was also only recently confirmed to have Special Editions that come in three mouth-watering variants.

...aren't you a little too old to be in AC again? I don't want to make you jump around and have your back break randomly. :P

I liked all the AC games but its just that I want more to do after the story was finish in the single player. I liked the multiplayer in brotherhood but the single player wasn't so good like I barely even use the assassins after I finish lvling them up. The parachute keeps reminding me of Just Cause 2.
