Chinese Kinect Rip Off? Yes Please |
Listed in: Humor Tags: China, igame, kinect ripoff, xbox clones
While at first I was disgusted upon seeing Chinese blatant ripoffs off various videogame devices, I’ve come to slowly accept them as a trend, a periodic expectation that we can simply observe. And chuckle a little at.

This one comes in the form of the iGame Move, a little videogame system featuring a camera that looks suspiciously familiar. With an advertising slogan of ‘Beauty Of China Show The World’, it comes as no surprise to hear from the makers that the device is actually aimed at Western audiences. And not pulling the usual card of pretending that the device they’re copying doesn’t exist, they did address the Kinect and said that the device isn't going after the same market. I find that hard to believe.
Coming preloaded with 23 games and priced at a low $25, there’s no doubt that there will indeed be a few buyers of the device; if not out of ignorance (you’d be surprised), then out of curiosity.
