A few months ago, it was confirmed that Team Xecuter would be working on a second version to their X360USB PRO product. The first version knocked down many barriers when it came to flashing drives on your Xbox 360 console. It was made to make flashing simply easier. By providing compatibility on all Windows computers and between all Xbox 360 drives, the X360USB PRO quickly became a must have tool. Not only that, the X360USB PRO sped up flash times and helped to provide a completely external solution to flashing. After its release, its functionality was extended to prepare third party hard drives for the 360. Finally, when you weren't flashing drives, you could use the X360USB PRO just for what it was, a SATA to USB adapter.

Now, what do you do when you want to take it further? You introduce the X360USB PRO v2. The upcoming version of the product is the combination of the X360USB PRO v1 and the CK3i Connectivity Kit. The major feature of the CK3i was complete automation of drive functions in Jungleflasher. Instead of doing the "Half-Open" trick yourself, the CK3i handled it for you. By putting them together, not only do you get this, you get the ability to connect the whole range of Xbox 360 DVD and hard drives.

It does not stop there either. The X360USB PRO v2 will be the first tool ever to allow games to be ripped with completely stock drives regardless of whether it's your BenQ drive or if it's the newest Hitachi 0500 drives. A new version of Xbox Backup Creator is in the works to support this feature.

The price for this bad boy is $79 USD, £49.95 or €59.95. It's a very justified price being that the original X360USB PRO sold for $59.99. The X360USB PRO v2 is currently in production and is available for preorder right now. Sales is expected to begin on May 7th.
