Connect 360 simply and easily enables streaming of music and pictures from an OS X Mac to an Xbox 360.Version 1.0 adds on-the-fly transcoding, so it converts music and pictures from file formats the Xbox 360 doesn't understand into ones which it does. Connect 360 can handle AAC, Apple Lossless, MP3, WAV and AIFF music and JPEG, RAW, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP and PSD images.

sure wouldnt we all anon, i mean after all isnt that the 360's dirty little secret ? ms did everything except imply that you could stream all your media using a simple xp os, but as it turns out we can stream music and pics ony....personally i find it insulting to think that its a convenience to play my music over my 360 (this isnt even to mention the wireless reciever doesnt work with my basic lynksys router so i have a long ethernet cable running in my hallway, a copnstant reminder of how much ms sux). i mean wow this is so cool !! u mean to tell me i DONT have to carry my mp3 player into my living room and plug it in to my stereo (all of which takes 3 seconds and doesnt require firing up the loud-ass 360), all for just $400 ??? wow thanks bill. thanks for nothing.

hey vecha...problem is the ps3 is going to look better and handle more stuff onscreen (as major nelson thankfully pointed out yesterday) than the 360 so i think its clear which sytem i and most others will be playing ina few months...thats right, the ps3.
tiger woods 06 will be the last game ill ever play on this box...its the most half assed product ive ever paid money for and will be the last ea game i ever buy
no wonder their revenues dropped nearlt 33% this past quarter

You will be playing that in your bedroom/lounge room while we will be enjoying playing online on LIVE since sony online gaming is terrible.

Can't agree more on that one. I feel a bit pissed that i can't stream video on XP sp2.
