Europe is getting The Cursed Crusade in a couple of weeks, which means gamers in the region will get to play it almost a whole month before those in North America. To celebrate the Kylotonn-developed two-player co-op game's impending launch, UK publisher Mastertronic has released a sneak peek at The Cursed Crusade's cinematic prologue.

The prologue sets the scene for what is set to be an epic adventure, revealing the intertwining narratives that make up The Cursed Crusade's central storyline. Beginning with Jean De Bayle, the prologue goes on to introduce his son and central character Denz de Bayle and his companion in arms, the rogue mercenary Esteban Noviembre.

"One of the exciting things about the prologue is that it starts to reveal the intricate layers of storyline that run parallel to one another to make up the game's complex and dramatic plot," gushes Mastertronic's product director, Neil McKenna. dtp excel in creating high quality storylines alongside incredibly impressive artwork, and this trailer goes to show they’ve set the bar even higher this time."

The Cursed Crusade launches in Europe on September 16th. North American publisher Atlus has it down for an October 11th release.

The animations look fine to me but yeah, the voices (especially the narration) are awful. :(

The characters nod WAY TOO MUCH. Their heads are just bobbing up and down the entire video.
