UTV Ignition has released a new trailer for the upcoming multiplatform title, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. The movie-style trailer reveals new images of the upcoming action title. The new footage includes a first look at the game's "intense later chapters of one man's epic journey into the depths of hell."
Inspired by events in the Old Testament's apocryphal 'Book of Enoch,' players take the role of Enoch, the purest of men chosen by God to reclaim the souls of corrupted angels and ultimately avoid the apocalyptic wrath from the Heavens.
El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron was originally slated to be released this month. A Last week, online retailers started changing their projected release dates to a month later. Early last week, UTV Ignition has since confirmed that it had been delayed to an August 16 launch due to "unforeseen logistical issues."
