Ó

The new title now makes Street Fighter even more of a mouthful to be sure, but the balance changes that have been included are a welcome sight for Street fighter fans and competitive fighting game players.

One of the best parts of this update for Arcade Edition is that it will be free, that's right, Capcom is giving you a new version of Street Fighter 4, for free! Finally!

Capcom have also confirmed that this will be the 'last' (hrmm, I struggle to believe that given we are already up to our 4th Version of Street Fighter 4) version of Street Fighter 4.

For a quick rundown on the included changes check out this Capcom release video for 3 minute preview of what is going to be changed.

Biggest on the list are the alterations (read: nerf) of Yun, this alone should make a lot of competitive fighting game players happy.

There are also changes to players such as Sagat and Cammy to alter the mechanics of their playstyles, as well as many, many other changes.

I mentioned a PDF earlier, so here it is if you would like to review the changes to all 40 characters in the 2012 update.

The patch is due for release on December 13th for the 360 and PS3, with no date for the PC update yet (which does not matter all that much as the majority of fighting game players are on the console anyway).

Only Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition will receive this update, not the prior three versions.

As for that statement about the PC version owners is that Capcom wants to piss people off basically. How difficult is it to release an update within the same time frame...
