Skyrim graphics glitch for Xbox 360 is being looked at |

The weird graphics issue that has popped up for users who are installing Skyrim to their 360 hard drive is being addressed by Bethesda.
Though installation of games to the hard drive is a recommended way to reduce load times and stop your 360 spinning the disc up all the time (and being so loud I can't actually hear the AUDIO!), installing to the HDD at this point in time will mess up some game textures in Skyrim.

According to an official post on the Bethesda forums, "Skyrim uses a lot of dynamic streaming systems, including textures. We've seen a few reports of certain textures temporarily scaling down on the Xbox 360 and then not scaling back up".
Bethesda have confirmed that this will not occur when the game is cached and played off of the game disc, so this is the work around for now.
The forum post goes on to say that "Skyrim makes heavy use of the Xbox 360 caching system, and caches over the normal course of play while in menus or interiors". This means that the cache can be wiped when other games are played or when the user manually removes it.
They hope to have a fix for this issue included in the games next update (no ETA at this point in time) to correct the messy textures when you install.
Tsk tsk, the second 'Bethesda-published game' in a month that has textures problems at launch (Ok ok, Rage wasn't their fault, ID are responsible for that shit storm on PC).
It would have been nice that this was corrected on the day one patch that came with Skyrim, but the game is still amazing, bad looking trees or not.

However I hope they take the time to iron out any bugs that the fix brings with it.
