Section 8 Avatar outfits invade Xbox Live Marketplace |

TimeGate Studios has added more things for Xbox 360 gamers to spend their hard earned Microsoft Points on. The studio has announced that Section 8: Prejudice themed Avatar apparel and accessories are now available for purchase and download on the US Xbox Live Marketplace. The Section 8: Prejudice Avatar items include shirts, hats, power armor suits, helmets, and even a small, wind-up Section 8 soldier.

The Avatar items are being released ahead of the downloadable first person shooter's April 20 launch on Xbox 360. It'll be available for US$ 15. Section 8: Prejudice will also be released digitally on PS3 and PC. The PC launch has been scheduled for May 4 while the PS3 version still has a projected Summer 2011 release window.
TimeGate is also setting up a rewards program for those who played the original Section 8. Gamers who have played the original will instantly unlock Aegis Armor and the Reactive Plating upgrade. Those who reached level 25 by April 20 will additionally unlock the Ablative Plating upgrade while players who attained Level 50 will also get the Explosives Amplifier upgrade. Provided players have not changed their Gamertag or PSN ID, the upgrades will be unlocked automatically.
