Nagoshi: Yakuza on Xbox 360 is unlikely |

Sega's Yakuza series counts as one of the company's most popular properties in Japan. Since the franchise's inception, all entries have been released on Sony hardware so it's a big exclusive for the platform holder as well. Those who want to get a taste of the Yakuza pie without having to get a Sony console are out of luck, though, as according to series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi porting a Yakuza game to another console is unlikely.
"At the beginning of the project we spoke to all the platform holders including Sony and Microsoft," he told gaming news site Eurogamer, "Every platform holder was negative about this prospect, but we kept on pushing because we believed in the potential, and as we kept going one platform holder that showed interest and saw the prospects of this title was Sony."
"That's how we started working with them, and that's probably not going to change," he added.
What is going to change, though, is the Yakuza style that grew out of the series' PS2 roots. The next big Yakuza game after the zombie-infested spin-off, Yakuza: Of the End will have something new to offer in order to keep pace with the changing times.
"The basic style and mechanics is really an old game that started on PS2 and continued on PS3," Nagoshi said, "Times keep changing, and if we started on some new games they would be in a very different shape - so the last game was the end of one particular era."
All main entries in the Yakuza series have been released in the west, although spin-offs like Yakuza: Of the End remain unlocalized.

Sarcasm or not.
(I'm also a PS3 user but whatever)

So, leaving as a game for one console exclusive, works out better for them.
Sega, just don't fucking ruin Sonic Generations now.

I haven't played Sonic 4 yet but has there been a good Sonic game since the megadrive days?

Sonic 4's really awkward and bad, they've only released Sonic 4 Episode 1, I wonder if they'll actually bother releasing all episodes.
With Sonic Generations coming up they'll just kill off S4, not worth the time nor anyone's money.
Not sure but S4 could have been already cancelled.
