Square Enix's four-player side scroller Moon Diver isn't going to be staying put on the PlayStation Network. The company has announced that it will be released on the Xbox Live Marketplace as well.
Moon Diver, which came out on PSN last month, is currently being readied for a May 4 release on the Marketplace. The four player co-op shooter will be available for purchas and download for 1200 Microsoft Points.
The feelplus-developed Moon Diver was is the latest brainchild of Koichi Yotsui, the designer behind one of the most iconic arcade action games of the last two decades, Strider.
While Moon Diver certainly pays homage to its side-scrolling ancestor with hordes of enemies and gigantic bosses, the game innovates in a number of ways, including entirely modern three-dimensional graphics; a dynamic and intuitive character experience and levelling system; four-player local and online co-op with the ability to instantly drop in and out.
