If you watched the live PlayStation 4 presentation last week than you probably would have seen the presentation by Ubisoft about their upcoming title Watch Dogs. Although we have known about this title for a while the good people at Ubisoft have started to release more details about Watch Dogs.  Today they have released the box art that will be featured when the game releases late in Q4 this year for PS3, PS4,Xbox360,WiiU, and PC..

If you’ve been following the details ofthis game you’ll understand why Aiden Pearce, the games lead character is featured on the cover holding both a cell phone and gun and how it actually explains the entire game in one picture. You’ll notice the little boxes around the other people on the covers faces and the same boxes around the security camera.  This is because by using your cell phone you can hack into the all of these things to either gather information on the people around you or even take control of the security cameras that are watching everyone. Why does our antihero hacker carry a gun?  Well not everything is going to go according to plan and sometimes he has to defend himself and the people around him from things out side of his control.

As we all know from the trailers that have been popping up showing the game play and the ground breaking story that revolves around the concept that everything and everyone is connected in the digital age we find ourselves in where almost everyone has a Facebook account or a Smart phone. Ubisoft asks the question that in a world that’s so connected and information so widely distributed, who is in control of the computers who control your information?
