Dead Island pre-order freebies announced |

Deep Silver and Techland have unveiled the free stuff that gamers who pre-order the upcoming zombie romp, Dead Island, will be getting.
Dead Island's Special Pre-order Edition, exclusively available to GameStop customers, will include both the game and the Bloodbath Arena DLC. The single- and multiplayer DLC adds challenges in four different arenas where players have to survive wave after wave of undead enemies.
Experience points and items acquired in the DLC can be brought over to the campaign. The DLC will also implement Leaderboards. A new exclusive weapon, the brain wave bomb, tops this DLC package off. Those who don't want to spring for the pre-order ediion can still get the Bloodbath Arena DLC for US$ 10 shortly after launch.
Also included in the special pre-order edition is the blueprint for a special weapon called the Ripper, an unholy amalgamation of a baseball bat and buzzsaw.
The Dead Island pre-order edition doesn't just carry downloadable freebies, too. It will also feature different exclusive boxart compared to the regular ones. Game's out later this year on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
