Dante is Back, Devil May Cry HD Remake Confirmed |
Listed in: Games Tags: Capcom, devil may cry, devil may cry hd, dmc 2
Having played Devil May Cry 2 on the PS2, it was the first game that I felt really integrated the analogstick successfully to an RPG of this style. It is great to see the series making its way onto the 360 and PS3.
The Devil May Cry HD Collection will include:
- Original Devil May Cry – 2001
- Devil May Cry 2 – 2003
- Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition - 2006.
Capcom have promised bonus content will also exist for all three games, on top of the new and shiny HD Graphics.
Support for Playstation (PSN) Network trophies and Xbox Achievements will also be available.

Long-time fans (like me) can revisit the series in much better graphics, and those who have never seen the game before can also explore the really good story. Did I mention there was a lot of Demon-slaying also?
February release is likely for Europe, with North America likely to see the collection a little earlier in 2012.

If anything, Capcom was probably the one who decided to release it on both systems since more people could buy it that way.

1.2. 360 controllers are designed to be comfortable
2. Bluetooth is unneeded
3. Six-axis, woo I can turn my controller to make something move
4. D-pad is indeed terrible
Also, I would like games like this as an alternative to FPSes.
So...yeah, why so stingy??
