The second this popped up in my Google Reader, I just had to share it.

Gamescom has surprised us from the get-go with Gearbox showing this trailer for the next Borderlands. The game will not be out for another year but I remember how much fun I had playing Borderlands with friends and by myself by just watching this trailer. The humourous Clap Trap's, the multi-layered storylines and subtle storytelling and with Anthony Burch behind the writing for the game, I could not be happier with how this little teaser turned out.

The trailer has some incredibly cool moments, with what looks like instantaneous and on-the-fly gun changing, slow motion crashes, smug looking faces, crazy cool explosion and some awesome background music. I could be more excited but that may involve time travel, a lot of sandwiches, a metal box and some clever steampunkery.

Brand new game, can't wait :)
