Hopefully not a hoax, so for now, we will operate on the premise that this is as real as it comes.
Youtube user KinectFaast posted his video of Kinect gameplay control in Skyrim on December 2nd, 2011.
Through the use of two modding tools, VAC (Voice Activated Commands) and FAAST (Flexible Action and Articulated Skeleton Toolkit), you can control everything to do with Skyrim by voice commands and body movement.
The video has been included below for you to judge for yourselves as to whether or not this is on the level. To our eyes, it appears that it is.
In the video you will see:
- Control of the inventory and magic menus of Skyrim with voice commands
- Sword combat via arm swings
- Use feet movements to shift between walk and run
- Raise your foot to jump
- Sheath and unsheathe your weapon
- Say "Hello" to interact with Skyrim NPC's
- Crouch to sneak
Providing this does prove to be a legitimate modification for Skyrim, Bethesda will be welcoming the news given the last week or so they have had with the problems relating to the Skyrim 1.2 Patch (in short, Dragons flew backwards).
We are still waiting to see the next Skyrim patch that will fix the problems that 1.2 created, it was promised for this week some time (PC first, followed by consoles).
What is your opinion on the mod? Real or Fake? Would you use it?

Also didn't he say "longbow" and a hunter's bow of some sort came up instead? Not that it really matters just an observation...
