Xenoblade Chronicles Not Entirely GameStop-Exclusive |
Listed in: News Tags: GameFly, GameStop, xenoblade chronicles
Xenoblade Chronicles is supposedly a GameStop-exclusive (and releasing in limited quantities, as well), but that doesn’t mean GameFly can’t somehow procure a few copies of the game. So, if you want to play this Wii-exclusive fantasy RPG and can’t stand the thought of turning down another Game Informer subscription, GameFly may be the alternative you’ve been waiting for.

On the plus side, this means you can play Xenoblade Chronicles for the low, low price of $5.95—assuming you can topple the game’s challenges during your introductory month. From there the subscription jumps to around $25, which is still less than the total cost of buying the game new. The real question will be whether you can actually get a copy of the game—GameFly is notorious for running short on in-demand titles.
It just goes to show you that in this modern day of online rental services, homebrew apps and, of course, the Internet, there’s really no such thing as an “exclusive” anymore.
Have you played Xenoblade Chronicles? Would you consider renting it from GameFly?
