The Valve Corporation logo - Image 1 When you're a parent and a video game developer at the same time, it may just make sense to want to make a game for kids. Apparently, that's what a lot of people at Valve Corporation are thinking, according to marketing director Doug Lombardi.

Interestingly, it seems the folks at Valve are into Wii games themselves - hence the idea. As Lombardi put it: "We all play the Wii a lot and we think that the proper way for Valve to approach the Wii would be to make something cool designed specifically for it."

Lombardi noted, however, that he isn't making any official announcements yet regarding these. What he is simply stating is that Valve Corporation has the desire to do something different on the Nintendo Wii.

On the other hand, Valve co-founder Gabe Newell is interested in making an MMORPG, especially since he's reportedly a huge fan of the genre. Newell admitted, however, that such an endeavor would be "a big risk to venture out on." Regardless of whether it comes to pass or not, the point is that Valve Corporation appears to be keen on moving out of its FPS comfort zone.

It will probably be a good game, since valve has not made a bad game yet.

The only thing bad with Valves name on it is Steam. I think no matter what product they put out it'll sell well based solely on their following.

Maybe they should modernise themselves and change their name to Transistor.
