Rumor: New Zelda at E3? |
Listed in: News Tags: e3 2011, Eiji Aonuma, Zelda

Producer Eiji Aonuma supposedly spilled the beans regarding a brand new Zelda title at E3 2011.
According to French website P-Nintendo, Aonuma was on a Japanese TV show when their Tokyo-based writer interviewed him. Their initial plan was to get more information about Ocarina of Time 3D, but Aonuma mentioned that a brand new Zelda title, one that celebrates the series' 25th Anniversary, will be shown off at E3 this year.
Naturally, this is complete rumor as we don't have concrete evidence that P-Nintendo interviewed Aonuma, and if they did, we don't know for certain that this is what Aonuma even said.
As far as the system goes, there's no word on whether it'll be on 3DS, Wii, or even Project Cafe. One thing's for sure, though: three Zelda titles at E3? Nothing can top that.

What happened to it? It's called The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and just like they announced at last year's E3, it's due out sometime 2011.
So nothing has "happened" to it.
